The TRB (Teachers Recruitment Board) is responsible to publish the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Examination Result 2019 for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. However, the TRB official (trb.tn.nic.in) did not declare the schedule of Tamilnadu TET Result 2019. As a matter of fact, there will be no separate result declaration for Paper 1(Class I to V) and Paper 2(Class VI to VIII) online. If there is any issue regarding the result then the TRB may publish the revised result for paper 1 or revised result for paper as per the requirements.

Tamil Nadu TET Examination Results 2019: The results of the TNTET Examination with Marks of all the candidates will be released in the website of Teachers Recruitment Board viz. trb.tn.nic.in after notifying about the release date of result in the Press / Media.

In general, TRB takes four months to six months of publication Provisional Mark List for Paper I and Paper II. In 2013 the notification was released on 17-06-2013 and the result was published on 05-11-2013. In addition, in 2017 the notification was released on 24-02-2017 and the result was published on 30-06-2017.

As matter of fact, this year 2019 the TNTET 2019 notification was published on Dated: 2802-2019 therefore, we can assume the TNTET 2019 result likely to be announced in the month of June/July 2019.

How to check TNTET 2019 result online?

After the confirmation of TNTET Result 2019 by the Teachers Recruitment Board(TRB) of Tamilnadu, candidates will be able to check their TET results online. Last year a total number of 2,41,555 and 5,12,260 candidates had appeared for the written examination, Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test Paper 1 and Paper 2 respectively.

The  TNTET 2019 certificate of marks will be published in the Teachers Recruitment Board website. After that candidates can download the certificate of marks from the Teachers Recruitment Board official website www.trb.tn.nic.in within one month.

  • Third: To query your certificate, enter your Roll No. & Date of birth
  • Finally, click on the “Search Result” button.

NB: The TNTET result 2019 link for Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be published on a different link. However, the candidate should download and print the Certificate of Marks for future reference.

FQA (Frequently Questioned Answers)

1. What is the TNTET Qualifying Marks?

  • Candidates have to score the minimum of 60% or more in the TNTET 2019 exam. However, relaxation of 5% marks has been provided by the government vide Go Ms No. 25 SE(TRB)Dept., dated 06.02.2014 for BC, BC(M), MBC/DNC, SC, SC(A), ST and PWD candidates.

2. Shall I get TNTET certificate?

  • TET certificate will be issued only to the candidates who have passed either the TNTET Paper 1 exam or TNTET Paper 2 exam.

3. How long my TNTET certificate is valid?

  • TET Certificate will be valid for 7 years from the date of issue of the certificate.

4. Are there any other conditions for the appointment?

  • The TET qualification is one of the eligibility conditions for appointment. The mere holding of a TET certificate does not confer any right to appointment.

5. If I qualified TNTET result then what next?

  • If you secured minimum 60% marks or more in any Paper, then the TRB will call you for certificate verification.

6. How they will call me for Certificate Verification?

  • Candidates are advised to check TRB official website. You may require to download the certificate verification letters etc and attend the certificate verification as per the schedule given therein. Call letters will not be sent through the post.

7. Is Call for Certificate Verification means guaranteed Job?

  • NO, calling for certificate verification is not a guarantee for selection; it is only part of the examination process and is independent of the appointment process which will be done by the respective departments.
