Tripura TET Eligibility 2019 Minimum Qualification for T-TET 1 and T-TET 2

Recently the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT)  has updated the Tripura TET Eligibility 2019. Therefore candidates must check the T-TET 1 Eligibility 2019 for Class I to V.  In addition check  T-TET 2 Eligibility Criteria for Class VI to VIII. The Tripura TET 2019 application will start from 30th April 2019. Hence, before applying  T-TET 2019 applicants must the minimum eligibility qualification of T-ET 2019.

Tripura TET Eligibility 2019

TRBT will conduct Tripura Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET) 2019: Second Session, in two papers, namely, T-TET Paper-I for a person intending to be a teacher for Class-I to Class-V and T-TET Paper-II for a person intending to be a teacher for Class-VI to Class-VIII. The minimum educational qualification of Paper 1 and Paper 2 is given below.

TTET Eligibility Criteria 2019 Paper 1 and Paper 2

T-TET Paper-I (Classes I-V)Eligibility 2019

  • 10+2 (HS) with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary
    Education (or 1-year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).

OR,

  • 10+2 (HS) with minimum 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary
    Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure)Regulations, 2002 (or 1-year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-05).

OR,

  • 10+2 (HS) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. EI. Ed.). OR, 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR,

  • 10+2+3 Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1-year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known). OR, Graduation with at least 50 % marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)*

Higher Secondary (10+2) means the Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent).

T-TET Paper-II (Classes VI-VIII)Eligibility 2019

  • Graduation (10+2+3)  and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1-year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).

OR,

  • Graduation (10+2+3) with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.).

OR,

  • Graduation (10+2+3)  with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR,

  • Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. EI. Ed.).

OR,

  • Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A. / B. Sc. Ed or B. A. Ed/B. Sc. Ed.

OR,

  • Graduation (10+2+3) with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) (Special Education).

FQA (Frequently Questioned Answers)

I am Honours Student but I scored below 45% in Elective Subjects.

  • A successful Honours candidate passed with 50% (or 45% as the case may be) marks in only Honours Subject is eligible for T-TET Paper-I & II provided the candidate passed all Elective Subjects.

My Honours subjects marks is below 45% but the aggregate percentage is above 45%.

  • A candidate who secured 50% (or 45% as the case may be) marks in aggregate taking together the marks of Honours & Pass Subjects is eligible for T-TET Paper-I & II.

I am a BA./BS.c/B.Com Pass Student, can I apply TET?

  • A candidate who passed Graduation in Pass Course with 50% (or 45% as the case may be) marks in aggregate is eligible for T-TET Paper-I & II.
Candidates having B.Sc.(Computer Science), B.Sc.(Bio-Technology), B.tech,
B.E, B.Sc. (Medical Laboratory Technology-O.T), Bachelor of Arts (Tourism Studies)
will be eligible for Tripura Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-l and Paper-ll
provided the candidate fulfills all requisite eligibility criteria such as the percentage of
marks, B.Ed, D.El.Ed etc. as per NCTE norms.OR Equivalent of degrees.
